The company was created after both founders experienced problems with verification providers in the payments space. Shufti Pro uses a hybrid approach of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and biometrics to deliver KYC, KYB, KYI, AML screening, and OCR solutions, helping businesses in finance, banking, crypto, gaming, e-commerce, and travel onboard customers, prevent identity fraud, and meet regulatory obligations. The platform verifies ID documents in 150+ languages across 230+ countries and territories, claiming an industry-leading accuracy rate. Since inception, the company has launched a suite of 17 IDV products and operates multiple international offices. Shufti Pro raised $20 million in a Series A round from Updata Partners.
